FAQ

What is backline?
    • Pick your favorite band. The Roots? Dirty Loops? The Eagles? When bands travel to perform, oftentimes they only bring a few personal pieces of equipment. They still need someone to provide some of the larger items needed to put on the performance. That’s where we come in. A term used to describe the equipment found along the “back lines” of a concert, backline usually includes amplifiers, keyboards, drums, guitars, DJ gear, concert percussion, and all necessary stands, cables, and accessories. Sometimes, it also includes staging, chairs, risers, microphones, PA systems, and monitors.
Where are you located?
    • We are located in the Discovery District on the campus of the University of Maryland. There is still lots of new construction around our location. Navigation apps aren’t completely up to date and will get you close, but not to our front door.  Click the map below to find our front door.

As you approach the main road (Rivertech Ct.), you will see two identical buildings. We are located in the second building (the one farthest from Rivertech Ct). Keep going past the first building and make a left between the two buildings. About halfway down on your right side, you will see our Capitol Percussion logo above the entrance.

Our address is 5650 Rivertech Ct., Suite Q, Riverdale, MD 20737.
